# Edit the fills

> Move, resize and reshape fills, paths and storage. Your edits stay when the plan is rechecked.

QuickBADS places every fill for you, but you can override it. Your edits are kept on every recheck and graded at their new size. Editing a fill runs Auto Update, and the schedule follows your edits.

## Room boxes

* **Move or resize** a bedroom, living or bathroom box with its grips. It keeps your size, moves with the walls it sits against,
  and regrades.
* A box against furniture follows the furniture. If you drag a box over a table or chairs, it snaps back to them.
* A box that runs more than 20 mm into a wall or column turns red and its label says **HITS WALL**, with the overlap.
* **Swap the type** in the Properties type selector (for example Bath A → Bath B). The box takes the new type's default size.

## Circulation paths

Reshape or delete a path like any filled region. It stays that way when the plan is rechecked.

## Storage fills

* Move, reshape or delete a storage fill. It counts at its new area × its type's height. A deleted fill counts as 0 m³.
* Change its type (full height / under-bench / overhead) in Properties.
* Draw your own storage fill to test whether more storage would fit.

## Undo your edits

* **Clear Fills ▾ → Clear Apartment** forgets the path, storage and box edits of one apartment. Click **Place BADS** to draw it again as QuickBADS would.
* **Clear Fills ▾ → Clear Whole Plan** forgets every edit on the plan.

<Warning>
  After a clear, your edits are gone and the fills come back at their automatic size.
