# Introduction

> QuickBADS checks your apartments against Victoria's Better Apartment Design Standards, live in Revit.

QuickBADS is a Revit add-in for architects designing apartments in Victoria. It checks each apartment in a floor plan against the
Better Apartment Design Standards (Clause 58, 55.07 and 57) and draws the result on your plan as coloured fills:

| Colour | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Green** | Passes the standard |
| **Orange** | Within 2% of the requirement, or can't be confirmed (the label says why) |
| **Red** | Fails the standard |

When you change the design, the fills follow and regrade. Move a wall, a bed or a table and the result updates.
